Objection by Toshima Karki, the leader of the National Socialist People's Party

Kathmandu, October 2 — Tosima Karki, the leader of Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), has objected that she was not nominated as a member of the secretariat. In the virtual meeting of the central committee of RSVP held on Saturday, party chairman Ravi Lamichhane nominated 4 people as secretariat members according to Article 26 of the party constitution. But after Toshima Karki's name was not included in that list, she expressed dissatisfaction. Karki expressed her dissatisfaction with the party leadership indirectly through social media and emphasized on the need for transparency and inclusive decision-making process within the party. The names of the people nominated as new members in the secretariat of RSVP have not been officially announced. It is said that there is an internal discussion on this issue within the party. Dissatisfaction with leadership style, decision-making process and party structure seems to be increasing in the last few days.
